How a commission works

You send a brief. The studio replies with a price and a delivery date for that brief. Nothing is charged until you agree it. There is no published price list because a single car in your colours and a team set carrying sponsor artwork are not the same piece of work.

Once the quote is agreed and paid, the design is drawn and delivered as the files iRacing needs, named for your customer ID, plus the artwork for Trading Paints.

Rights

Artwork you supply stays yours. Replica schemes, throwbacks and sponsor sets are normal iRacing paint work and the studio builds them; what you run on your own car in the sim is your call.

The finished design is yours to run on your own car in iRacing. The studio keeps the right to show the work in its own gallery and Discord, and asks first before naming a customer.

Payment and refunds

Payment runs through Stripe against the quote you agreed. Design work starts once it clears. If the studio cannot deliver what was quoted, you get your money back. Once a design is delivered as agreed it is not refundable, because it was drawn for your car and nobody else's.

The Discord and Mr Clanker

Clanker Bot is a bot. It works for Mr Clanker, it answers out of this website and general racing knowledge, and it can be wrong: nothing it says overrides a quote from Mr Clanker, a delivery date, or these terms.

Be decent in the server. Harassment, hate, spam, piracy and asking for somebody else's paid work get you removed. The studio can remove anybody from the Discord at its own discretion.

iRacing and Trading Paints

Clanker Graphics is an independent studio. It is not iRacing, not Trading Paints, and not endorsed by either. Those are their own companies and their own rules apply to their services.

Changes

If these terms change the date at the top changes with them, and the change is posted in the Discord. A job already quoted runs under the terms it was quoted under.
