Privacy policy
Clanker Graphics is an iRacing wrap studio. This covers the website at clankergraphics.com and Clanker Bot, the bot in the Clanker Graphics Discord. It is written plainly because it is meant to be read.
What the website collects
Only what you type into the request form: your name, your email address, your Discord name if you give it, your iRacing customer ID if you give it, and the details of the livery you want. Nothing else. There is no analytics script, no advertising pixel, no tracking cookie and no third party embedded on these pages.
A brief is stored on the website's own server so it cannot be lost, and it is posted into a private staff channel in the Clanker Graphics Discord so the studio sees it. It is used to quote and to design your paint, and for nothing else.
Payments run through Stripe. Card details are handled by Stripe and never touch this site or the studio. The site records only that a job was paid, when, and for how much.
What the Discord bot collects
Clanker Bot reads a message when you speak to it: when you mention it, reply to it, DM it, or use one of its commands. It sends that message, plus the last few messages in the channel for context, to a language model through OpenRouter to write the reply. That is the only outside service involved in the chat, and the account is the studio's own.
Your messages are not stored as a transcript. What the bot does keep is short notes about you, the way a crew chief remembers a regular: the car you run, your number, your customer ID if you gave it, the look you like, a job you have going. Nothing else, capped at a couple of dozen lines.
It is yours. Type /whatdoyouknow and it shows you everything it holds about you, privately. Type /forget and every note is deleted from disk on the spot, no questions asked.
The bot also keeps a copy of this website's public pages, so it answers accurately, and a list of the server's channels and roles so it can point people to the right place.
If you file a wrap request through the bot with /wrap, that brief is stored exactly like one sent from the website, because it is the same request.
A support ticket is a private thread between you and the studio. Discord keeps it until it is deleted; the bot does not copy it anywhere else.
Who sees it
The studio. Nobody else. Nothing here is sold, rented, shared for advertising, or handed to a data broker, and no request is ever published without the customer saying yes to it first. The only outside services involved are Discord, which carries the messages, and Stripe, which takes the payment.
How long it is kept, and how to get it removed
A brief is kept while the job runs and afterwards as the record of the work, so a returning customer's paint can be updated rather than redrawn. Ask and it is deleted.
To have your brief, your ticket or anything else about you removed, open a ticket in the Discord or send it through the request page with your reference. It gets deleted from the server and the request desk.
Children
The site and the bot are not aimed at children under 13, and Discord requires its users to be 13 or older anyway. Nothing is knowingly collected from a child under 13.
Rights and artwork
Artwork you send stays yours and is used for your job only. Finished designs are shown publicly in the gallery or the Discord only with the customer's go ahead.
Changes
If this policy changes the date at the top changes with it, and the change is posted in the Discord.
